Popular OAP Media entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa finally reveals announced that she will be quitting radio for a new career phase after 12 years on air, which stirs reactions as netizens tries to find out the reason why she decided to switch career.
Taking to her Instagram page to announce her exit on Friday, September 23, which she revealed is her last day on-air, Makinwa reminisced about going into the industry as a rookie and 12 years after, leaving as a seasoned broadcaster.
Toke Makinwa thanked the Silverbird Group and Rhythm FM for being a huge part of her journey as she announced her new venture, a podcast. She captioned her announcement video:

GUYS, IT HAS BEEN 12 YEARS SINCE MY FIRST DAY ON RADIO, AND I FINALLY TAKE A BOW.. IT’S BEEN THE MOST EXCITING 12 YEARS OF MY LIFE.
